What is educational therapy?
The purpose of educational therapy is to provide intensive and individualized instruction for students with a variety of learning profiles or differences. The goal is to create a personalized set of strategies for each learner to strengthen his or her skills. In order to address underlying challenges with fundamental skills, educational therapists are required to have an extensive background in remediation and intervention strategies in which training and credentials are required. Educational therapists act as a liaison between student, parents, school, and other allied professionals.
